Quite often the moldings, engravings, and sometimes the weight is made to replicate their lethal counterparts.
The internal mechanisms may differ, but the exterior is virtually identical. For this reason it is absolutely necessary for airsoft guns to come installed with an orange tip by manufacturer. This safety tip on the barrel is the most obvious indicator between plastic and real steel.

While we don’t produce a kit with precut pieces specifically for the I96 Airsoft Gun, we recommend using our generic uncut sheet, the Large Gear Skin, to wrap your gun with. This kit measures 8″ × 50″ and it requires the user to custom cut, install, and trim to fit any gun.

Reza, since the SR25 is based on the AR-10, it’s a larger platform than the AR-15 and thus our AR-15 Rifle Skin may not fit quite right. We suggest going the generic route and using our Gear Skin to get the job done, which does require custom cutting and trimming to make fit.

Yes Ralph, you can install on a 1:1 replica of the 1911 pistol. Since you’re only covering the surface, which is virtually identical, there is no issue.

Reza, for small applications we suggest using the medium Gear Skin to wrap with. You can cut this single sheet into any size piece and trim to fit. Disassembly is not required but some like to wrap in separate pieces. It’s entirely up to you.
